I understand Peter Donolo is holding a media briefing this morning for the Canada 150 conference.
Wow. I’m a little surprised at this. We’ve heard that Donolo has an ego, but this is getting outta hand.
First he gets rid of Warren Kinsella, something we couldn’t afford.
Now he’s pushed the communications team aside and is doing his own briefings.
What’s next, pushing our elected Caucus meetings out of the way? Oh wait, thats already happened. They’re not invited to Canada 150.
A critical eye needs to be kept on Mr. Donolo these days.

*head hits desk* this is SOOOO stupid. This Canada 150 Conference is turning into a joke!
Why can’t we get our act together? At least our previous leader (as many mistaks as he made) gave a platform and stood by it. We are opening the door to other people writing it for us! Get some brains LRO and make our own ideas to inspire Canadians!
Jamie, the LPC holds 8% of the seats West of the Ontario border,
maybe other people should be writing Liberal policy.
I can’t speak to the internal workings of OLO, but the caucus members are holding satellite Can 150s in their ridings, doing local outreach and engagement with their citizens. I would prefer they be there than in Montreal, where anyways they will be link via teleconference.
I applaud Donolo and Ignatieff in their realization the malcontents in the Liberal Party are partly responsible for the lack of success in the Polls and finances.
The facts don’t lie. Many of the Liberals who have been in Ottawa since 2000 are not helping the brand revival.
Ignatieff has already fired some of his staff, he should distance himself from the MP’s who have been leaking and stalling the revival of the brand.
Ignatieff job is to lead and win the next election. I am confident Ignatieff is embarrased by the repeated failied publicity stunts.
It is time for an adult conversation without the Liberals who believe they are the natural governing party.
Time to rebuild without them.
Getting rid of the Rosedale mob and the long past best before date Jackal was as smart as Donolo gets. What party can afford a human shrapnel machine ticking away in the WarRoom ready to say something clever about Chinese Canadians or Women or whatever else the Jackal has whizzing through that nasty little mind.
And look at the polls…they were in free fall and Peter has brought them back up to even.
The best thing Donolo has done is got rid of Warren Kinsella. Wow. If you think the Liberal’s cant afford to get rid of Kinsella, you are either an idiot or a fool or both.
